Jonathan Losos is in the Department of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology at Harvard University and is also the Curator of Herpetology at Harvard's Museum of Comparative Zoology. Ever since his childhood fascination with dinosaurs and his pet crocodilians, Losos has been interested in the intersection of herpetology and evolution. He integrates studies of ecology, behavior, natural selection, phylogeny, and functional morphology to study the evolutionary diversification of New World Anolis lizards.
